New space in the former Bankside Power Station’s underground oil tanks. Whatever your feelings about performance art, it’s an incredibly atmospheric venue.

TUC anti-cuts march, Embankment to Hyde Park.

After being heavily damaged by bombing during the Second World War, the ruins of this City church were later made into this very peaceful, hidden garden. Well worth finding.

Brilliant last night of Propstore, the National Theatre’s summer pop-up bar.

Highly recommended.
